..or the day i kinda met Avril Lavigne, twice.
Just returned from 3 days in Berlin…work huh..tough life sometimes…
Went out to Mosh last Monday, bad, bad smelly people… 2 hrs sleep.
Left for MK Tuesday, hung at John’s place (disgrace)…2 hrs sleep.
Left for Berlin on a 6am flight arrived @ hotel by 9.15.
Great weather, Berlin is an amazing city, so many cool things to see.
This is the top of the Brandenburg Gate, which was so cool to see.
The nine of us that had arrived at this point got on a nine person bicycle. Sounds weird i know but, it was basicly a large circle of bikes all pedaling one chain, with one coventional bike attached to do the steering. Sounds fucked, i know but if you ever go to Berlin jump on one of these fuckers they are a blast.
Wandered around Berlin for the day had a few drinks, took many pictures.
I dont know what this place was but it looked rad…
Inside the Holocaust memorial…strange place. Baking hot day, loads of people around but when you got to the middle, it was really cold & quiet.
Then the evening decended into a mess, for some. I was someone what sensible and mangaged to get a whole 6 hrs sleep.
The real reason for being in Berlin was to go to the Bread & Butter trade show, see loads of different clothing collections…t-shirt whore ahoy!
B&B is set in an old airport, yeah its that fucking big…
Its more like a festival than a trade show…not going to bore anyone unfortunate enough to be still reading with the clothing side of things but there are some sweet pix of some of the cool stuff that was there…

I though this New Era display was pretty awesome, from the other end of the show it just looked like a poster,when you got up close it was 1000’s of caps…
Avril Lavigne was on the Abbey Dawn stand promoting her brand. She is fucking tiny. One of the girls i was with was a big fan back in the day so we went over to say hi. Not the most chatty person, we manged to get a “Hi”, twice. On two seperate occassions. Knew i was with a kindred spirit then…us rockstars, we gotta stick together… Although i think she’s sold aproximately 11,000,000 more records than i have, i’m still the better song writer.
This is just one of the Mad Max style dudes that were around the site for the day, looked pretty cool in convoy with 6 others…
Nightime @ the show got messy & Daft Punk played a DJ set. But i hate gay techno bollocks so fuck those guys, but there a pic anyway.
